Chino Roces Ave, Makati City

i was supposed to be in The Collective. for the record, i was not lost, i was able to reach Malugay street i just cant find the place so i resolve myself going to Little Tokyo. it was around 3pm and found that most of the restaurants are closed. apparently, the place is more of a night spot so opening starts at 6pm.

i settle myself at Kiri Ichiban (i'm assuming thats the name of the dinner, almost everything is written in Japanese and Kiri Ichiban and the menu are the only thing that is written in english letters) and found very comfy yet hardcore. they had manga and the tv is showing a Japanese soap. i checked the menu and decides to have something different rather than having the usual tonkatsu, gyudon or domburi, so smarty me just pointed one in the menu without asking what it is, all i know is that it was a rice meal. they served me first a glass of iced tea, i thought it was nice but then it was just an iced tea, like literally iced tea, brewed, no sugar, no lime or other flavorings on it. and they served the meal and to my surprise... it was fish! the meal has a rice of bowl, natto, miso soup, pickled something (i dont know what it is but i think its raddish) and a nori wrap. i dont know what knind of fish it is but it tasted like galungong. its considerably a heavy meal and it was good but not something that i will  eat whenever i'm craving for japanese.

i can smell the fish on my breath whenever i burp so i had caramel sundae the instance i spotted McDonald's.
